Officially a Terrano owner now!
So after my training in Birmingham i decided to kill two birds with one stone and pick up my new baby
I must say she drives very nicely and the motor purrs! Not sure if i gave her too much beans on the 120 mile trip but I was doing 80/90 most of the way? Any advise on comply speeds for the engine is appreciated. Two things i have noticed, a bit of free play on the steering (tiny wobble at around 65) and a whuuuur noise when changing gears (foot off gas n clutch pressed in) but she drives v v smooth! I am a happy bunny. Raining too hard for pics but I will get some gooduns! |

We need pic's so go out & get wet Pleased you've got it mate & i'm sure it'll serve you well My old SWB I often used to drive at 70-80 on the motorway or like i'd just stolen it any other time but it did have a knock on effect in that the MPG was 28 as over 2.5K rpm they do use a lot more fuel but with the LWB i've got now it's rare I go over 60 as the revs are at or just under 2.5K & can get a MPG return of 32-33 if driven lightly

Hehe thanks buddy. I decided today (just got in) to hit some very very easy greenlanes to test the old girl. Ones a flooded Tarmac road... Bit boring, and the other was in the sticks that put the suspension to the test. (No danger of getting stuck) just water n holes. She did a great job!

I know how good these are as I have had terry's for around 9 to 10 years and used them in anger in the snow. |
