awww its a little zuke havin a nap, i hear if you get a bar of chocolate, its got to be the dairy milk stuff though, that you can coax them out of their little ruts and get them to play again :lol

he wasn't doing that run you can see.
he was doing the one next to it!
lost his vision from the mud spray at full throttle and landed in the one next to it:eek:

the jimmy was nearly destroyed. not just by the crash.
after trying to winch him out the chassis snapped, the towing hitch flew at a very good speed to go through a disco rear window.
we then tried to pull him from the front axle:augie.
the axle snapped off along with the front spring.
it was pretty knacked when we got him out....

Mmm I am running 31s and keep doing shafts, and I think the diffs on yours are not as robust as the up to 99's, I have given up on bigger tyres as shafts will a very weak point, maybe I should do what makitfit suggested once and fit an axle to the front, food for though but not for a while as far too much else to do, Rick

nice one, as you see it is not the steepness of a hill but the dips and lumps and it is when those spinning wheels hit dirt again that something can and with me invariably break, good one on the recovery in reverse you have much better view of the job, but in these situations I prefer a winch aside from more power you have far better control, Rick

I was a bit worried about towing in reverse after this happened

im glad no body got in the way

yes mate all down to snatching, something you must never ever do, it will only break tackle and cause possible injury, had a guy offer to tow me out yesterday and he was quite put out that I refused, he was going to snatch me did similar with his mate earlier, my nearside front wheel was hard against the dirt and it required a slow steady pull with a block to double the winch power, she came out OK, but was thinking of using the rear winch side on to the roll cage to stop roll, it was close but did not need it, Rick

it would of killed him eventually if it was that weak & rotten so probably for the best that it happened on a little on & that no one was seriously hurt.
