not exactly rick , its basically a cb with a lot of extra frequencies and modes .... not entirely legal ones either :augie

one of the bands it will operate on is the 10 metre amatuer band. for which you will need a licence as you pointed out rick , but it operates on lots of other bands too ..... including legal cb

mmmm I had a burner years ago in my truck think it was around 500 watts maybe more but still did not increase transmition distance a bit, all I ever got was a rf burn when touching the twig to see if the burner was actually working, they were the days, 70s when cb was not legal in the UK, Rick

physically its in good shape considering its a 30 yr old radio ..... works really well ...... no i havent had a look inside ..... but i know its history :thumb2
