i tried not to be too smug...
as i drove home from brum today
i even saw a gritter, it was outside a cafe.... terrano was faultless where others zig zagged up hills. fantastic! hope everyone made it home safe. |

they deserve a break too.
I happened to be up in the early hours 2:30 am and the snow plough went through our village both ways, the gritter also. Cannock Chase Council are excellent. Some say we had 10" but it depends if a man or a woman was measuring it...

birmingham was total chaos, the main a38 was white over. no grit put down at all.

I did about 150 miles locally yesterday
Made some proper steep climbs in foot deep untouched snow around the lanes, truck was faultless |

a38 main connector road to the m6 closed this morning, traffic carnage, they had to wait for a gritter to arrive due to sheet ice. i thought it was all sheet ice!
the inward carriageway had been gritted previously and was fine, brum..."you'll never leave" |
