Did any one see the Clarkson special tonight, he raced Hamon to the north pole, clarkson driving a heavily modded Toy*** thingy

: and Hamond was on a sled.

I enjoyed it but Clarkson needs some serious off road training, he just dosnt realise that you can not push them as hard as he tried to with out soing serious damage, at one point he ripped of his second fuel tank and demolished one major looking shock.

Felt sorry for Hammond when Clarckson took the micky out of him at the end

: I felt for Hammond as he had the hard job & the dogs should of won, I mean 15 hours running 8O It looked like a Koni shocker he killed :roll:

i was dribling at that toyota its on there home page pride of place didnt he just abuse it i could just see toyota boys hiding behind sofa wincing as he smashed there truck to bits! there a lot cheaper new than navaras aswell!
im definatley thinkin of body+suspension lifts now got busy few months comming up everything gonna be hectic long range tank be good aswell!

I watched it and enjoyed it, pity they were so flippant about it as it could have been a really good programme.

I watched it and enjoyed it lots. I haven't laughed so much in ages. I thought the truck was awesome. Shame Clarkson lost his temper in the ice bolder field and wrecked it! I really think Hamster deserved to win as he made much more physical effort. Interesting to see how they were all sniping at each other when they were tired/stressed, wonder how much more of it they cut out.

Q. If the Truck was out of fuel how did they get back?

I wondered that too, probably the huge support team driving Nissans brought it back :wink:

im sure he swapped trucks aswell cant remember exactly why but i remember thinking it aint same truck i could be wrong! they ruptured an extra tank thatd been fitted got back on standard one if u remember he was panicking about pumping fuel from ruptured one to standard one strange as most long range replace standard tank!

support crew wouldve fixed t and driven it to civalition for toyota to recover it whilst the clarkson brigade flew back to blighty when he took the discovery three to top mountain he cleared of in a helicopter with the keys! that truck is pride of place on toyotas home page cant say as u blame them

I would gues if Clarkson & the rest got air lifted out they would have dropped some fuel off at the same time & the back up crew would had to drive it back the way they came 8O or flown the trucks out a bit later
