Post Hello everyone

Hello, my name is Tom.

I actually havent got a 4x4 car yet, but I am looking to buy some Patrol Y60. It was my passion for a long time, but as I moved in to UK 10 months ago I wasn't able to do so because of the move.
I am adrenaline addicted (I used to do rallying) photographer and I work as a web developer.

As it is going to be my first car in UK, I've seen on some posts people were saying about insurances around £400 or less, but when I did some quote it turned around £1100 on the cheapest one. Without any modifications, and as I would like to put some higher coils, shocks and bigger tires it will cost me a fortune probably.. is there any good insurer for a "first timer"?

And one more thing, is there any Sell forum here as I couldn't find any - or is it only for full members?
