Hmm seen the film 2012 right, would seem the world is tearing itself apart?
Weather getting worse in every country and more and more of these natural disasters. |

Are there more or are we just more aware, due to the media?
8.9 i think it was, but personally didnt feel anything, dont mean sound flippent, but in proportion. Could be tied in to NZ stuff, these are happening all the time. Last night thought was that sun spot activity was related to fierceness of recent winters. There are so many variables, then what was it the butterfly effect or was that the 90's buzz word?

And further more the highways agency send their own 4x4's up and down motorways simply to put cones out behind broken down vehicles so dont know how they can blame 4x4

just woke up to watch vid from japan, that river with cardboard
boxes going over a weir, err no shite they're cars, then a wave washing buildings and buses away. scary stuff, mind atleast they expect it isnt most of japan on a fault line, like much of pacific so build with it in mind. guess will be tunsami that causes the most loss.

yeah I agree that the media is simply reporting more these days, and yes, im fairly sure that whole area is a fault line, and earthquakes arent anything new to japan,
see here for the fault line http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgur...ed=0CCkQ9QEwAg so its not the world tearing itself apart like in 2012 thankfully, just an unfortunate consequence of the area. |

But those pics are horrendous aren't they.....absolutely unstoppable. Fifth worst quake worldwide since 1900 apparently. And the wave is bigger than many Pacific islands they say so we haven't heard the last of it..... |

Awful, we are so lucky to live in this country.
I was thinking that too, there does seem to be more natural disasters going on recently. We haven't looked after our world very well, perhaps the gods are angry... |
