Rachaels organic rice pud. On offer at tescos is very home made. Get a few tubs , tip em in a pyrex dish, sprinkle a bit of nutmeg on and put it in the oven for a while.

Itll warm through lovely and get a skin on it just like the homemade

Get yourself a pressure cooker. Chuck in rice and lots of milk. Bring up to pressure, steam for a while & then take off heat & mix in sugar. It tastes exactly like Ambrosia out of a tin.

so surely, it would be cheaper to get tin of ambrosia? which is where the first comment took me - perhaps not bad advice after all
