Note: This must be done in your head only. Do NOT use paper and pencil or a calculator.
Take 1000 and add 40. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total? v v v v v 5000 yeah?? Well no its 4100 - go on check with the calculator!! |

because of the thousands and the sequence they are in the brain adds the tens as 100's instead on 10's its an optical thing tod woith the way your brain percieves what it sees

I got 2100, and still got the same when I used a calculator.
Take 1000 = -1000 and add 40. = -960 Now add another 1000. = 40 Now add 30. =70 Add another 1000. =1070 Now add 20. =1090 Now add another 1000. =2090 Now add 10. =2100 Have I gone wrong somewhere? |
