I suppose its not a web site problem for everyone but it will be when the members that it concerns cannot log in.

Same old problem of e-mails bouncing back!, I know this one keeps cropping up but if members e-mails are out of date then you will not know until you cannot log in.

Its always my fault when members get an e-mail that says "your account has expired!".

Your account relies on your e-mail address being up to date so that you can receive club topic notifications, Private messages and e-mail from any members trying to contact you.
