Default New to this forum

Got myself a 89 Terrano 1 about 2 years ago, well the missus recons its hers and i suppose its in her name and drives it mainly. I ride bikes but well impressed with this beast. We live in Portugal in the woody mountains 3 years now and needed it to get to and from the house. While we have a friend with a 06 Nissan that strugles to get up the hill ours just "walks" up there.
Always good to be part of a forum, good morning

Hi Faber, welcome to the forum, and congratulations for owning a vehicle older than mine lol.(20+ years).
There are not that many of your trucks around, but as most of the Terranos and Mavericks were based on your model, then most of the running gear is the same, and most of the engine parts.
Welcome to the best forum for all things Nissan 4x4.

Yours wil be the R3M terrano, Sharkie, who was one of the founders of this site, had one of these, I think there are a few others, hopefully, they might say hello.
There are probably more abroad than in the UK now.
Other than body work, I think the front suspension was changed from coil to torsion bar on the later ones.
Great trucks, great off road, even as standard

Hi and welcome... Along with my T2, my Wife also has an 86 R3M T1, although at the moment ours is SORN, as I am having problems with the rear brakes.

Fantastic cars, with such a high spec, shame Nissan took so much off of it when they went to the T2.
