We just got a puppy at work, when she’s older she will be trained for Search and Rescue. She’s a little Springer Spaniel, photos look great of her. As Paraclar says puppies are always fun.
So nice to know the recent disturbances haven’t upset the dog. Now you can both enjoy some great times but they’ll be hard work I’m sure. |

Not my kind of dog breed !

We had our first Chihuahua back in 2000 ish whilst our Belgian Shepherd "George"was still alive before they became a fashion accessory. I was quite surprised to find that ours are not snappy little noisy cretins but are more like a large dog trapped in a small body. I guess dog temperament is more nurture than nature in our experience. The birth yesterday has brought a lot of joy to our household after the fire. We said at the onset that we wanted to keep one bitch out of the litter but we will probably keep the dog that took some saving when he was born. The light coloured bitch is "Lilly" named after my mother-in-law who died in January. The brown coloured male is called "Half-pint" due to him being the smallest who took some reviving when he was born. The black coloured male is "Norman" named after my father-in-law who has had Prostate Cancer for the last two years. He is about to start Palliative Care Chemo in a few weeks as it has spread into his spine & lymph glands. |

Mum having a rest by Ted Bagshaw, on Flickr We took them to the Vets yesterday as two of the Pups had some lumps on their skin felt like a mole or skin tag. Turns out they were scabs from small bite marks where Mum had been a bit rough with them when they were searching for her Nipples ! lol |
