Yep. Solarman Rik is in a prime location. Easy to access with a 'van and not far from the coast. Lovely surrounding area with an abundance of shops. Happy wife, happy life.

Just thinking about a small over nighter size tent.

Now, on the Norfolk Broads, where we visit a lot, there is a broad called Salhouse Broad, and they rent out "Camping Pods" for campers without a tent.

http://www.salhousebroad.org.uk/camping.html

Now, Rick, you have the facilities to knock a few of those up...
£20 per night...

I couldn't believe what I saw on that web site, is there a market for these pods?
Seems they have to book them up. Well it is Norfolk after all...

However on our local Cannock Chase, the "dog kennels" usually have 4 wheels, with steamed up windows and an interior light on...

errrmmm so I'm told...

What's the plan then rick?
Is there a particular weekend your thinking of for us members?

The only holiday I have had all year is my 2 days off roading in Wales.

Need a break.

What!! Too cold for camping no such thing is there? Often woke up with frost on the tent. Nice warm sleeping bags and hot drinks no problem.

You'd be better off buying a couple of old caravans. At least you could move them about.

Rustic
Can you be classed as a camper, without a tent?
Yes these pods are becoming popular. Deer's Glade is another good campsite which has these.
£50 per night though :eek
