1998 T2 Tdi 2.7 LWB TDi R20 Bosch 213,000 M
MOT HAS EXPIRED CURRENTLY STILL TAXED AND INSURED

sadly has to go
All welded up and ready for MOT , then discovered O/S rear spring hanger gone.

Repairable, but a challenge.
slight dent rear quarter O/S
both bumpers repaired in past
Car is clean and in good order otherwise.
everything works except remotes ( central locking works )

Patched Cills both sides for MOT, all done
NEW Trailing arm poly bushes for MOT
NEW front shocks for MOT

all else believed OK then found rot at D/S rear spring hanger

full leather ( in good order )
factory fitted Tow bar
factory fitted sunroof
factory fitted Roof rails
factory fitted Bull bar
factory fitted side steps / rock sliders

She is at 213,000 M but never used on veggie oil
regularly injector washed with FORTE or REDEX
semi syth oil regularly changed
engine gearbox etc all OK
4x4 box all OK

never off roaded

MUCH welding completed ... but sound apart from SPRING HANGER
......................................

I'd like this to go to a good home
the welding is a bit too much for the 'front lawn '
I've owned this truck for 11 years and she's great
Please save her !

Cut the boot floor out to get to the spring hanger, Makes it much easier.

Cut both hangers off, As the others probably similar condition. Use a bit of C channel to bridge the chassis sides, Springs sit in the C channel.

but its too much for outside on the lawn ! (in winter ! )

The guy said he will fix it up .... I hope he does ......

The end of my Terrano days it would seem.
Mixed emotions .... I really liked that truck .

I hope to stick around about the forum if you lot will still have me !!
