Default a message to my friends

i have just come back from the solicitors , we discussed all aspects of my problem , and whilst he still offered to help me with the form , i have decided not to pursue this any further , .

my reasons for this are quite simple .

this person has allready threatened a member of this club with physical violence , and lets not forget , he knows where i live , and is only around 12 miles from me .

if this decision means i lose your very generous offer of help with the collection , then so be it , but my safety and that of my family comes first .

if this decision also means i lose your friendship , then as much as that will be devastating , then the reasons above apply .

i have learnt a very expensive mistake , and i will learn from it hopefully, so can i request that due to the nature of the person we are dealing with here , and the possible repercussions on the club , that this is ignored, and no further action is taken.

kind regards and many sincere thanks .

briggie ( pete )

dont be daft fella, i'd never fall out with you! your decisions are right mate, and i AGREE wth you totally. The gift we colllected for you, i believe, isnt based on anythign you do or dont do (obviously you use it to egt the car fixed, or geta new car lol) but not persuing a violent thug from ebay isnt going to change things!

as a few people have said, its time to move on. we have the money now to sort you out Pete, and its soemthing so many of us want to do because we think you are a top bloke, who just needs a bit of a helping hand, and lets face it your circumstances in terms of the purchase are pretty bad!

so chill, we are all behind you matey, lets focus on the future, and moving forward. i want you in that car, driving. and i want us all to be able to meet up, and have a brew.

Thanks Briggie, we want you to enjoy your new motor and get out and about without any more aggravation, our only concern was to get to get you back on the road and I am sure all will be fixed soon.

Regards "the person" I am sure that his discretions will soon catch up with him.

So now it's positive thinking time, lets get the motor fixed..... regards bri

There is absolutely no danger that anyone here will fall out with you, you done the right thing in seeking legal advice and the matters best put to bed and written off as bad experience and perhaps a lesson learned.
As the old saying goes, "What goes around, comes around" and that fly by night will get his comeuppance one day (sooner rather than later preferrably).
The main thing now is getting you back on the road and away from your computer, that way we wont have to read any more of your rotten jokes.
Best of luck Pete, hope your mobile soon

Well I agree with all of the above, best thing now, is to get back on the road and start enjoying life again. What has happend is best forgotten about or it will eat at you for a long time.So !!! get those wheels back on the road.

Yeah, time to move one, Pete - this guy will get his comeuppance at some point I'm sure. Let's get your truck on the road. Cheers to you, mate!
