Does anyone know much about detachable towbars?
My thoughts are that the mechanical connection is a point of failure and I’ve thought this for years especially say towing a car Transporter trailer having the heavy weight.
They definitely do look better than a conventional towbar and of course you don’t catch your shins
.
I’m planning to have a towbar on my VW van but have my concerns as you can see but on the other hand there’s thousands out there on the road.
What’s everyone’s opinions?
