Just a thought along the lines of faceache

Is it possible to "Tag" members user names into a post or thread so they become aware of it ?
Often's the case a thread may be merrily rolling along and another member may be able to help with the content, but not have followed the start of it, eg a tin tent thread wouldn't get me reading it, but I might know about producing more towing torque

Just a thought

On a lot of forums you just put the @ symbol in front of the persons used name, so if it works on here, it would be...

@makeitfit & @terranosaurusdoug , @Lazy-Ferret

Edit... nope, doesn't look like that works...

I'll ask to see if there's any tag integration with vBullitin engine that we're running on at the moment.

just found can add tags to threads, then search for them on the down arrow next
tto the search button.

not quite was Pete asked but maybe handy than the normally lumpy search which
doesn't like short words.

Await Paul, think this is second version we've had but forward tagging would be good.
