Hello Spikey, Welcome to our club,
Have they give a reason why they will not give you insurance?, Is it age, or convictions?. Mav. |

Adrian Flux should be able to provide cover. We have imported the Patrol that we owned in Australia. Its also modified but AF have provided cover. You will also get a small discount if you mention the club.

any idea where imported from, as sounds like a uk model rather than a grey import ie a mistral which some companies dont cover.
generally if built for european market then is a 'parallel' import and as per if brought in by nissan uk originally. parallels became popular when uk dealers stopped stocking the trucks, as i recall about 4 years ago, and non franchised dealers brought them in from places like greece typically with uk spec ie rhd and air con. the only difference was the corrosion warranty was reduced.

Mine is a Japanese import Mistral, and I have Fully Comp. Insurance with Academy Insurance of Bristol (through "Groupama Insurances") . I live in the SA1 area, which is a "High Risk" area, and my premium is £270:01 per annum. Academy's tel.no. is 0117 982 7051.

Sorry guys just a reminder that this as it is an introduction forum for newcomers to introduce themselves.
Any other questions need to be in the correct forum in this case "General Forum" for insurance inquires. Also a search can be done to find any topics that have been posted. |
