Hi Sean and welcome aboard. When you say "swan neck" I'm assuming you mean towbar?

Swan neck towbars are basically a piece of metal shaped as it says but has the 50mm ball on the end, rather than a standard towball that has a flange with two bolts.

What's the problem? Is it a removable swan neck and the twoball part is missing? I'm guessing if it's this then either contact the previous owner or towbar manufacturer.

Hope that's of some use.

See what you mean now. Hmmm assuming you've tried where ever the jack and wheel brace are kept. I'll be seeing somebody at work that had a Pathy until recently so I'll ask her for you.

I've never seen a store for the towbar swan neck on any vehicle as designs can differ amongst towbar manufacturers. Usually they're kept in the garage etc when not on the vehicle.

If you can't find it then it's probably missing Is there definitely a towbar fitted?

I know on the Disco 3 the socket for the towbar was there on the truck as standard but you still had to buy the actual swan neck separately.

That's right Alex. Brother has a BMW something and he pushed the button not knowing what it was and ended up with a big lump on his shin.
