Well guys although not back to normal by any stretch of the imagination I’m definitely getting better. I start back at work on a phased return on Monday.

Got a checkup at hospital on Thursday so a bit concerned about that for sure.

I keep taking things back from cancer bit by bit, cancer has taken enough.

Just waiting for a CT scan next which will be the first of several to monitor the situation but fingers crossed they’ll never find a problem again.

Good news, going back to work. :clap Bad news, going back to work!! :(

Great News Jim!

Pleased to hear things are looking good, TBH when I returned to work after my Chemotherapy it gave me something external from my body to think about - I am sure it will help in your long term recovery.

Best of luck on Thursday.

Update

Well after a long delay I’ve finally got the results of the CT Scan and there is no sign of the cancer reoccurrence which is great. There’s a couple of things they are going to monitor each time I have future scans but on the whole great news so far.

I've not been around much on here over the past year & more. Didn't know you were poorly Jim.
Glad to hear you're on the mend :thumb2 :thumb2

Cancer plays a big part in my family.... Both parents, uncles, aunts & gran parents have had it in some form.
Not sure what I'll do when it's my turn. Cross that bridge when I arrive at it.

Good to hear your News.

Great News - I am sure you will find being back at work helps, telling colleagues who ask about what has happened will be therapeutic in the long term though it can be tiresome.

A welcome relief you deserve Jim, pleased for you. :beer
