Default New Member Saying Hi

Hi everyone,
Having owned numerous older Land Rover 110s over the years I became fed up increasing the share price of welding gas suppliers. Whilst they were great fun travelling around Europe and the UK it was a bit of a solo experience as there was no way Mrs Rusty Horse and the foals would get in them.

So - I'm switching to a Nissan Patrol so I can still do all the same stuff but in more comfort and spend more time having fun in it rather than under it.

In the process of looking for the right one but aiming for the 3.0l SE or above, circa 2000 so would be grateful for any pointers.

Looking forward to being active on here and getting to know you all.

Hi and welcome. You will find that Nissans share the dreaded tin worm problem but are way more comfortable and just keep going. I run a Y60 myself. I'm sure a few others that have y61's will point you in the right direction

Default Thanks (& how)

Thanks chaps.
Quick question - just paid my tenner and wonder if there is a delay before I can access all the stuff? (getting the not authorised message and no search facility)

Not sure how long it takes to process, your name will change from red once it's gone through. Patience my friend.

Welcome, I wouldn't worry too much about the payment. Someone will be along shortly to sort it out for you and you'll be blue before you know it.

Hello and welcome, there are some nice patrols on here with some top quality mods and knowledgeable owners! Jay666d might try and sell you a lawn mower though

As for access to whole of forum I think it may be a case of waiting for a moderator to log on and sort it

PayPal is, but if he has used Western Union. !! he's probably bankrupt by now lol.

Great to have a new member, especially a Patrol owner.
Welcome on board.

I've been a member for over 10 years, I wasn't a member for the previous 12 lol...

Did you notice how subtle that was... I sneaked in the fact I have had my Mav over 22 years lol.
