Default Black Pearl goes trialing ;)

So today the Black Pearl took me trialing What an absolute blast, never done it before but can't wait to go again
After my slightly premature trip out for the Team Wales weekend I had to go back to basics and tighten everything. Check everything else and generally fix all my quick fixes
Been really busy of late but did get a good day of prep yesterday and got to this stage last night

I'd upgraded my comp rods and re done sections of old wiring loom. Got the LPG re-armed and generally tidied various loose ends.
Trialing is a good discipline to get into. I entered the RTV class, thats road going class basically.
You have to drive through 10 increasingly difficult gates without stopping, getting stuck or hitting a stick. I excelled at all
Here's a few shots of us in action

Powering through a hairpin in the ruff

Top of the pile in No1 gate, unfortunately not a clear run as I clipped the last cane

Bit of 35" flex action

Beat some of the CCV class trucks and did get one clear round when no one else did
Properly addictive and just can't fault the truck; the nut behind the wheel though needs a little fettling

Going trailing with my cousin in his series two when I was 14 is what got me into the 4x4 scene.
Great job all round Pete

Looks great fun but really difficult to see the gates and where to go. Surely it should be better sign posted or is that part of the trial. Is it timed?

I found them invisible sometimes but yes maybe part of the game. It's not timed but you try telling anyone POWER
