Default Terry's Suffolk Sojourn

Hi all, long time no speak! Apologies!

Just got back from our summer hols and the truck didn't miss a beat. Had to keep reminding myself I had a trailer and roofbox on.

Went to Suffolk and we saw more Terranos in ten days than we have around Southampton in the six or so months since we got the truck. Deffo Terrano country. We were waving and flashing them all, but nobody waved back ... so I'm assuming none of them were members, ha ha.

Anyway, a couple of pics of my beloved in Aspalls Land...

And, yes, I am aware I am a lens missing. I've just come on to PM someone to see if they have one, so thought I'd post while I was here. I dunno what it is about our holidays and that indicator!

Nice smart setup

I'm on holiday this week but spent most of it working on my wifes truck. So no break in the tent for me.

It's the only way, apparently...

We love Essex and have done it a few times over the past couple of years. It's a beautiful part of the world, almost a hidden gem. We stayed at Steeple Bay and even did Jaywick before it gained infamy via those awful exploitative 'documentaries' on the telly. It was, er, interesting, to say the least, but the people were salt of the earth and the place served as a decent enough base for day tripping.

Enjoy the rest of your hols.

Thanks, Jim. It's taken a few years to collate it all, but we like it. The green extension tent was new this year and a real positive...somewhere to dump everything out of sight and free up so much room in the main tent.

Think we're about there now for camping stuff and probably actually need to get rid of some now to free up some shed space. This is the first year we haven't come home with a 'stuff we need to get for the next camp' list anyway.

Shame you didn't get away, but I'm guessing you were happy enough tinkering with the wife's truck. That sounds a bit 'Ooh Matron' Carry On-ish, but I'll leave it there anyway.
