red chip key, 2.7 tdi... battery is on its way out so been starting it with jump leads but had been ok till tuesday morning when it was just cranking and no fire. I was trying to programme a new plip key with no success on monday night cant see this been the problem as i had it running after playing about with the programming sequence.

yes, ive had moments when ive wanted to push Toby 'my Terrano' off a cliff, but it was worth it they are the best 4X4 EVER!!

ive spent over £2000 on mine but that was mainly in modding

Great you are running again.
Re your title... Does owning a T2 get any better?

I've had mine 18 years from new.

Best car I have ever owned

Does that answer your question?

Best regards,

Rustic

I put the key in the drivers door lock held it over till the interior light went out unlocked the door then did three cycles in the ignition on/off. This worked the second time i did it, weather this is an official sequence i dont know but it started! Yeah im happy with it now, not sure ill keep it 18 years! its my second car for pulling the caravan and mild off roading!! I think ill make a set of wheel spacers for it make its stance a bit more mean
