Does the switch light up from the 12v suppply or is it a neon that lights up from the mains supply?
If it lights up from 12v then it should have a main 12v + feed, this should then feed the fridge mechansism. You must also have to have a negative feed to the bulb, this may be whats missing or broken in some way. I'm also assuming it's an Electrolux fridge in the caravan, try a google search for a circuit diagram perhaps. Jim T |

Is your caravan a modern model, if so the fridge only works on 12v when the 12s (grey) plug is connected to the car with the engine running, that's when the light in the switch will come on. It's done this way so that you don't kill your car battery or caravan battery.
