Water and grass
As the grass was suffering a bit with this dry spell we are having, decided last week to install a 100 Mtr 25mm MDPE pipe in the bed of the stream (which is at a trickle now) it is about 50 Mtrs short of the stream head on my property but has sufficient fall to give a continuous what I would call a slow hose pipe flow, curiosity got the better of me so stuck a 1 Ltr jug under it and it took just 20 seconds to fill so by my reckoning that is nearly 1000 gallons a day, just move the hose around the grass area and here a bit of gutter as the hose is too short

Careful Rick, I’m sure some snowflake interfering tin pot authorities that we seem to have in abundance in our country will take a dim view of that.
Great idea though |
