Need an advice.

I have a friend with a 1992 Nissan Terrano (WD21) with the 2.7TD engine (without intercooler).

The gearbox is allways with problems.

What are the possible alternatives for the gearbox?
A gearbox from a earlier model would fit?

Thanks.

Looks like the fan has caused that damage to the hose.
Mine is close after doing the body lift but a bit of re positioning gives it clearance.

It wasn't the fan but the air compressor, it's too close to the hose.

When the new hose arrive, i will try to cut 1cm (0,5") from the tip, so the curve is closer to the radiador.

Well, the AC is in the correct place.
With the new hose is aroun 1,5cm apart (0.6").

Update.

Here, Portugal, we don't have much snow in the winter.
This year was a little bit "better" on that part.

In this one i replaced the auxiliary lights, these have DRL function.
But they lack the size, need to find ones bigger.

And doing what it should, towing my kids in the sled...

Keep safe.

Microphone support:

And my console (needs to be replaced, broken in several places):

Just missing the final photo installed in the car, but the radio had parts moving inside, so he is going to be replaced.
