Barmouth is north west wales and in my opinion er well an ex-resort
A classic victorian place by the sea, fantastic beaches and close to Snowdonia etc, but a seriously has been town. I've worked there and sailed there. In the summer its packed and in the winter its dead
Some nice old seafront buildings etc but just overall a bit sad. Oh it rains lots too(probably)

Ok just like a few near me loads going on here seems the rest of the world has found us property prices etc

do you have to speak Welsh to live where you are or just act welsh

I'm up for a challenge do you speak welsh?

its not mars ya know ! they mostly speak english
the kids do a bit of welsh .... all you need is the ability to be laid back and dont rush

i wouldnt do north wales they are a bit funny there and less nice

i like it in the valley's they dont seem to have much but seem happier for it

i best just say.... not everyone from north wales is less nice or funny. its just the experience i have had

and i dont want to tar everyone with the same brush

im sure there are some very nice people there

It's ok my mum and dad were gogs and they move south for more room and less rain
Just act welsh Willow, that'll do
Some shops rather have welsh speakers still, not a bad thing really
As long as you got time to talk to people you'll be fine, and as said before dont come here and expect things to hapen quick sharp

well... here's a good one
for breakfast they have similar to the full english. but they add seaweed and cockles on the same plate


i guess after eating that s**t nothing else can really get to you, for the rest of the day

maybe thats why they aint in a rush...... trying to keep it in
