rebuilding a car, is very much like making love to a beautiful woman ,
first you should give her a good look over, is she the one for you ? look at her lines, is she straight ? or bent ? look for bumps, has she got any ? is she slim and sleek or like an old tractor ? check the bodywork for signs of ageing. has she been round the clock ? warm her up, see if she smokes . once you`ve made up your mind, it`s time to start first strip of the bodywork, look at the chassis, is it rough or smooth ? does it look clean ? if not give her a wash down, look for cracks, there must be a couple at least, bumps ? give them a close inspection lay her out nicely treat her to some good oil, then ....................dive in !!!!! . |
