I parked up my BMW 520 in August when the TAX ran out, i only run the 2 trucks now because i can run them on cooking oil.

I run the Terrano more than the Maverick because it runs on about 80% cooking oil and the Maverick at about 20% (It will run on more, but it dont like starting up when its cold) so i get better savings this way.

I think its now topping £1.41 round here, it wont be long before its £2.

Not bad when you think that 80% of the cost is TAX, even better when you think that they add fuel duty first then TAX you on the fuel duty that they added.

Im now thinking of selling the BMW because its not worth keeping it, 4 months and not turned a wheel and no-one in their right mind would tax it at this time of year cos they wont go in Snow.

If you look at Briggies first post the cost was £1.30 back in Jan 2011 its now £1.41 in Dec 2012 so in just under 2 years its gone up 10p. Average tank 60Lts = £6 more out you pocket everytime you fill up. If you fill up once a month its £72 a year.

GOD BLESS THE UK.

Look for a cheaper station.
http://www.petrolprices.com/
£ 141 is a bit dear. SunnyScunny is £137.9. Farm Foods still £9.95 for 10 litres. David.

20 litres of cooking oil £18:99 cant remember when i last put pump fuel in the T2, as its winter iv been draining the petrol from the school bikes and mixing 10% petrol per cubie.

recent cold weather hasnt made any difference and iv put a glass jar outside the kitchen window just to give me an idea each morning what state of play the oil will be in the tank, now thats a fuel gauge lol
