yeah..that's a lot! I don't have the tools to remove a gearbox, and manoeuvre it onto a pallet is the problem...or the time. Despite the parts being worth a bit, I just don't have the time (or tools) to remove them.

ok, cars going tomorrow to the big scrap yard in the sky. decent price i got for whats left, so i am happy. I only have the arch trims to remove for Ryan, then thats it, im done. I still have quiet a few parts left, notably the CKP, No1 injector and MAF-someone should grab them while they can if they have a late 97 onwards to 99 car.
anyway, ill update the list shortly. |

well, everyone, my Maverick has gone.
Its had a lot of history on this club, I spent a lot of time, and money fixing various issues, but I loved it along the way. I remember the first time driving it home. I remember how different it felt to my old Fourtrak-it was like driving a car by comparison. I loved that bonnet scoop, the noise from that engine, the power and the ride. Awesome car. I loved it in the snow, in the fields and tracks. I loved how I didn't have a care where I drove it because it was my workhorse. I cant say it never let me down, because it did, quite a few time. But I kept on with it, fixed it with the help of this club and got it running nice, I then enjoyed quite a few years of very reliable motoring. The only thing to finish it off, was rot and bad circumstances. I have great memories of the car, and always will Ill be sticking around in the club, its very likely ill end up with another 4x4 at some point but for now, im going to enjoy cheaper motoring for a little while. don't forget guys, buy my parts |
