I had to chang the plate on my first Patrol as the wife wouldn have 69 or cum on the back... When viewed from the back with the spare wheel cover it was quite funny.. It was known as the CUM Patrol for a short while!! |

Dont know the law BUT any shop keeper or landlord can refuse to serve anyone and doesnt need to give a reason
So in theory one could just serve anyone asking for tea in polish |

and it's not that i dont beleive the posting here, it's can we trust the source it came from? and racism may be a technical issue hee as being Polish isn't a race it is a nationality. I was thinking that maybe the person who originated the story had got hold of the wrong end of the stick? |

The big fib
This one was started by the Daily Mail back in the early 80's when they claimed that Harringay Council had banned the use of the term in the staff canteen and you had to ask for a coffee without milk as it was a racist remark to ask for a black coffee.
This was picked up by all the media and it became common canteen talk in the workplace. It was in fact based on zero fact and was thought up by a journalist to discredit the PC initiatives being brought in to address real discrimination in the workplace. When I was in Police Training School in the 80's it was an often aired view by Trainee Police Officers. Theye were amazed that it was not based on any real initiative ! You were either being wound up or the person who had a go at you is far from being as smart and PC as he is making out to be. |
