I still miss my old GL740......one of the most comfortable, stable and nicest cars I have driven.......bland maybe, but nice......

Never had the 740, although drove a few when my ones were in for service. One had done 840,000 miles and still pulled like a train.

I have had 2 x 240, 1 x 850, 1 x V70, and 3 x 480's, one was the Limited Edition "Celebration", which was gorgeous.

3 inch SS straight through exhaust
Manly winch bumper with 13000 lb winch
10 spike ground anchor, with multiple straps and blocks
Super strong body cills capped with scaffold pole
20% stronger springs all round
aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

I was loaned, as a courtesy car, by the Volvo main agent, a T4, my God it was quick........I had to be surgically separated from it by the service manager.....it was beautiful......

Nice, I would love to have a go in the T5, even better if it had the "restriction" removed, but I never liked the colour.
