Similar to jags, when you push to start the dial rises out of the center console

That was a close call then, irreplaceable items, glad you got them OK but the rigmarole should be unnecessary, Rick

New car arrived today
Should be greatful, but, Merc A180 CDI AMG
Great to look at
Comfy seats even for the more generously proportioned chap
A BMW 118 has a 2.0l motor
A Merc A180 has a 1400cc TD unit, 106 BHP WTF
It sounds like a wasp in a bean tin and you really have to shake the little blighter to make it move
Seroiusly dissapointed wth Merc....
please can I have my 320d BMW back

Wasn't you Alex but someone had a go tonight.
Car in front stopped a bit peculiarly, as the cars in front of it didn't, I started slowing up and then really had to stomp on the anchors and the abs kicked in.
The chap behind me wasn't as keen on his brakes

Thanks chaps
It Was a bit of a thump but I was fairly well braced expecting to nudge the fool in front.
Hopefully I will avoid the whiplash effects I know how long they can last as the wife is still suffering a year on from the accident that started this thread
Thankfully I was in the car on my own as was the gent that hit me
Fortunately it was a short stretch of road between roundabouts so the speeds were relatively low
