Makes no difference. Its very rare a bussiness folds because one employee leaves, that applies to most of us.
If he's a mate you'll see him again, if he's a boss/work colleague and you've got nothing else in common you may never see him again you've simply moved on. You'll find with ex colleagues that if you meet up with them after youve left, some you'll be bored shitless talking to because theyre living in the past and all they talk about is how things were (as opposed to interesting or amusing anecdotes) whereas with others you'll have a brief "hows so and so" or " hows work" then bin that and go onto the serious business of beer and errr beer. |

Umm, its because its a small family run haulage company but established & treats me like a son in some ways that i dont know how or when to tell him
Its the CSA that has caused all this really as before, the more i worked the more i earnt where as now they just fleece me & i'm left with very little if anything |

When I last worked in London, loads of our drivers were self employed.
The insurance shouldn't be an issue. You can still be a named contractor with x years experiance with the firm etc. It also seems to me this CSA mob need talking too aswell. Surely that percentage can be changed, as there's no way you should be working 75 hours a week at those rates especially , it's ballocks. Self employed is the way forward Tax is er oh er what is it again er no I'll come back to that If I choose to work a long week then that's my choice AND my money |
