Well at least they're making an effort. That's better than a lot of dealers we hear about.

I don't know enough about that side of things to say if that's the problem, I'm someone else will be able to advise better.

Thanks for all your help and advice. I'll keep you all posted. Just getting a quote now for fitting plugs and I'll supply the plugs as suggested.

Shame you're not closer mate, I'd have done the job for you in an hour tops!!!!
Expect to pay more if you contact your local motor factors for Lucas plugs, if you don't mind waiting for them, contact a place called Premier Factors in Walsall, last lot I got from them for 4 came to just shy of £20 including postage

Nice looking truck, miss my 05 plate truck that I put in px for my little skoda daily.

Only thing I really hated about the later trucks is that silly folding parcel shelf. The earlier roller blinds are much easier.

A tip that few know about.
Always change the plugs on a hot engine. NEVER a cold one. They come out very easily on a hot engine.
Tell your garage that. If they snap them off, they're trying to make money out of you.

Lovely looking truck. Don't get disheartened. We're all working through a list of jobs.

Default Tidy looking moter hope its as nice underneath !

If you do need to replace the battery I rate Yuassa but Halfords are charging you for fitting in the price. it should be nearer the £80 mark. Have you visited this site a Yuassa 019 5 yr warranty 100 Ah 900 cca for my Jeep was £86 including delivery. They are often cheaper on e -bay than on their wesite !

https://www.batterymegastore.co.uk/

Out of interest the Hankook 4 year warranty ones are worth a look.

I second that, on both counts, Rick

Hot engine tip works.

Just mention to the garage they'll come out easy when engine hot,
Keep the cost to £60 mark
