well ive not been on the com that much now adays, and im not often stuck for words but there is never enough words for what is happening now you have really done well mate and it will be sad to see you step down like this but you have your reasons and we can all understand that as like when rob stood down, the club as come along way since it started and boy was that along time ago but hay whats done is done now, so lets hope the new owner will have a sense of humor like you have and keep the club going for years to come.

Cheers for everyhting Mav, you have been a good mate on and off this site and I am sure you will continue to be a good mate.
And a belated thanks to Shark1e for his past and present good work, I know his dedication to the club cost him dearly. maybe we can all get together and have a moan about the new chairman now : see what it feels like to be on the other side for all of you (I'm sure it made him smile too) (and that was said in a light hearted spirit just in case anyone else takes in the wrong way!) all the best from PLANK (AKA Chris) |

Thanks Tony, Plank, Supertaff and everyone else for the kind words.
Your welcome and its been a real pleasure. Nnman, It will only be course fishing as we have a very large river at the bottom of the garden and theres lots of pits around here too. Sadly most of the carp have been removed by dead line left in overnight by people that find them very nice to eat :x . Its strange but there’s not so many Ducks about now as there used to be!. Strange but why do i see so many grown up people feeding them at night around where i live :? !. I cannot work it out :!: Mav. |

well mav
i can onlyrepeat what others have said. as one of the old school of members seeing this club growing from its infancy (joing just before the 2nd rally) i have seen it grow from strength to strengh with all its ups and downs. if bat21 does only half the job you and rob done it will suceed(i am sure he will do beter than half though) it has been a pleasure and a privilidge to work along side you in all aspect of the club and my only real regret was selling the mistral. and to bat 21 all the best in the future of the club abd if i can support you in any way i will gladly do so if i can. but back to mav take care of you and yours enjoy the time you have and i will watch with baited breath to see where you pop up next lol best regards tony |
