Well I will have to see what ratios are in the truck. I can't ask my mate who built it what he did but I suspect he didn't re gear it. I take it they are 9" ring gears on these axles?. I don't intend to throw a ton of money at this so I may go down the route of s/h diffs of 4.6 ratio. Besides I might not want 37's on all the time for road use ( the original wheels with good A/T's are included.)

I knew of the truck and pursued it from there, it took 7 months and then I had to go through the sealed bid process.

Well got to Loughborough this morning a 7.55 and got into position to load. Horrible weather.
Straight out and on.

Fastest turn around ever, lashed on by 8.10.
Paperwork and payment in 5 min including loading spare wheels,High lift jack into the Burb.
Away at 8.15, fastest turn around ever!!
Stop to check straps.

Back home.

Checked it out on the ramp, a few jobs to do. A small plate on the chassis in front of the rear axle, a small plate at the rear of the sills also but I guess that goes with buying a 19 year old Trol. The gear shift is a little stiff but has loosened off as has the transfer lever.
I'm a bit undecided about the tyres, they are 37x14.5x16 and catch on the front trailing arms on lock so I may have to re think these for some narrower ones.
Anyway I will have a look tomorrow as the weather is poor.

I guess this isn't in the right section but I just spotted this and thought it may be of interest to someone maybe:-

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-Pat...item19e78428e0

Looks like it may have potential.

Recognise this???

Aquired it a few months ago - would muchly like to get in touch with Andy L to have a natter about it's history what's been done etc. I've pretty much got history from the previous owner who pointed me at the threads on here.

I've not done alot to it yet other than tighten a loose wheel bearing, put fresh tyres/rims on it, and build a roof rack and bars out of an old bed frame.
