I had 100/140w's in my MkII capri with a pai of 55w Wipac Har Raisers to boot, before the Granada Alternator mod Full beam would limit the power to the coil and cut the engine out that was In 1994 just before the V8 went in.
The same spots are now going onto my new truck ( some 19 years later ) till I get a new front bumper sorted |

You should never start a dead car with the engine running on the other car... It is fine to connect the batteries, and let the "good" car run for a while to put some charge into the dead battery, and bring the volts up, but always stop the car before trying to start the dead one. |
