I spent the day helping my boy "do up" his MK2 fiesta
Crazy money old fords are getting at the mo. He was after a MK1 but they've gone nuts, so eventually settled on a mk2 Forgotten what fun customizing was He's got his eyes on my old weller wheels now, some 13 x 8 s should fill his little arches a treat |

excellent pictures!!! Remind me of my early car years.....first car was a 1966 ford anglia (1200 super, maroon with a cream roof) with a 1500 pre crossflow engine (cortina gt) and gearbox, ford classic capri struts and disc brakes, cortina seats and instruments with a big fat tacho on the dash top ... It was de chromed and a home made exhaust sytem with a 4 into 2 into 1 header, straight through pipe and a peco rear box. Also had bloody great reverse steel wheels with big tyres plus full 'works' rally wheel arches .... oh and air horns that played a tune lol ..... it was the dogs dodahs in 1978 I can tell you.... wish I still had it
Maybe a new thread on the subject anyone???? |
