tuesday morning 08.30 and car is still parked outside , but then again , it is absolutely nissing down , and from what i understand they need to crawl under the car to drop the props ,when our lass comes back from work i will " borrow " the disco and pop into see them .

I guess this a tow in job then If so surely you only need drop the back prop if it's not in 4wd and you've got auto hubs

Wouldn't putting the transfer box in neutral ( 4x4 lever position between hi and low) disconnect the drive for towing, anyone know? bri

I *think* towing is fine but all 4 wheels must be turning but they wouldnt tow mine to the garage , they put it on a low loader

Get a friend with an all vehicle recovery policy to come round and get you towed in.

i borrowed our lasses disco ( am i forgiven ? ) and i popped into the garage to " enquire " , they said they really didnt want to drop the props while it was raining so heavily , but if its not too bad tomorrow , they plan to tow it slowly without dropping the props ( is that safe ? )
