Clicking the 'New Posts' button each time you visit will bring up every single post made since the last time you logged on. It will bring up any threads that have been replied to or not replied to, as long as they contain posts that have been made since your last visit.
I think you've got it.
New Posts only brings up threads that have new replies since last visit and everything else has disappeared.
If you'd looked at the Singletrack page you'd see that the most active threads stay at the top of the page and the threads without replies fall off the bottom, but they're still on view to remind me of their existence and it's an ongoing process. The page we used to have funtioned in much the same way and was a nice landing page, see what's happening then dig deeper.

Currently running Firefox as I haven't touched IE with anyone's since about 2005.
My fault for not being clear between threads and posts.

Thank you for taking the time to explain Don

I have now changed the link at the top of the page to say Get Recent Posts. It should list the last 5 days posts.

Can you click it and tell me if this helps?

That, sir, is brilliant. Not just that there is, what I think is a great landing page, but also that you listen and adapt Bat21.
Quite happy if the general consensus is against it and wants a change.

A pleasure Don, glad we got there in the end

Always happy to help folks, if I can, who take the time to explain.

Ah that seems a lot better, if you remember Pete I commented on this issue some time ago (probably a year or more) in that when logging on many threads that I had not read were dropping off the bottom, and the only way to see them was to look in say, the pub or caravaning etc, the looks like a cure for that, time will tell, Rick

All hail Bat21

Much liking the new get recent posts button.

It was getting hard work looking at the site.

Many thanks! I realise that yours is not an easy job, and the time and effort is much appreciated.
