If I'm not mistaken, the Mav's alloys will be a Positive 25mm off set.
So, if you look for wheels with no off set at all you will be almost there... Neg 5mm would get you your 30mm, but I don't think they will do an off set that small? |

Thanks for that J-Tac. I can live with 0mm offset, I shall be looking at new shoes and rims in the new year.
Just done the valve clearances using the manual I downloaded here and using Solarmans advice on backing off quarter turn instead of feeler blades. Also removed small filter from banjo bolt on fuel pump. Runs lovely now, best £10 I've spent in a while on membership, half the price of a Haynes manual! Many thanks to everyone |

Having resolved (fingers crossed) my injector issues I am now onto the next stage of the interior revamp.
Having already got a boost gauge fitted in its own pod I have been bought an oil pressure gauge and double pod so am going to spray pod white and mount it centrally above centre console (excited) so will post pic as soon as fitted. If anyone has fitted an oil pressure sensor can you let me know how you did it? I am considering using an adaptor that allows the original sensor and the new larger sensor to be fitted together but am not sure of the amount of space available. Access appears easiest through the arch liner but if anyone has already done this a pointer to the right thread would be appreciated. Have also blanked the EGR now using the ball bearing in the vacuum pipe trick. Thanks again to everyone who has posted just wish id found this site years ago!! |

Blanking the vac pipe is not the answer as I have not seen a valve yet that does not pass exhaust gas when supposedly closed, the only way is a blanking plate, Rick
