I get on the site ok, the only problem I have is on the start up page, you don't always get the pictures, just the box "Enter Site"
But it has been ok recently. M a g i c . . . .

When I upgraded the server a few months ago some ISP's (Orange being the biggest one) got their DNS settings mixed up... but unfortunately they refuse to accept they have issues As nothing is broke this end, there is nothing for me to fix |

Try any of these as alternate (secondary) DNS servers:
208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 Quote:

the idea is to make your computer use different DNS servers to the ones provided to you by your ISP, presuming the ISP is having difficulty getting this site to you. To change the DNS depends on your operating system, have you got XP, Vista or Windows 7? Or a MAC? Either way, you need to: go into Control Panel, look for Network and Sharing centre or anything with "Network" in it. Go into that and look for your network adapter, so its either Local Area Connection * or Wireless. Click "Properties", in the white box containing lots of options, click Internet Proctocol Version 4 so its highlighted (DONT untick it) then click Properties. in the General tab, at the botom, you will see "obtain DNS server address automatically", tick the round button to select "Use the following DNS..." and enter Googles dns servers which are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4, click OK to accept and close all the open windows, close your internet browser and try again. heres a support page to help http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...CP-IP-settings |

I've been having intermittent problems too,and I don't understand how it could have anything to do with Orange as I don't think they operate over here. Thanks for the info Clive, have set that up and will see how I get on. At the moment it's ok but it is usually evenings when it goes pear shaped.
