i dont care, i would love a sorted Defender. But its quite simple, they are TOO EXPENSIVE for what you get, i mean thousands of pounds for a realy old example...

plenty of old troll's out there... and proper tractor running gear like the 90's.

even 15 year old t2's around still


yes for ease of parts and easy to modify id have a 90

but id prefer a troll every day of the week

yeah thats a fair point, you only have to look on ebay to see theres a ton of very old, but in good shape, Defender 90's for sale (still for what id call big money). personally, i would love one, BUT im only going on word of mouth, and generaly the word is good. ive never had one, or even driven one, but they have a good rep dont they?

they rattle and there drafty also all of them drip oil on the drive but even without power steering i liked to drive mine. i never took the vectra unless the other half was coming with me.. you dont have to wash them and there perfectly ok prush painted and every thing is easy to get to and cheep to do.


ffs sounds like im talking myself in to another 90 doesnt it.. i sold mine for £800 bet i cant get another for that

it does mate, but you make good points. i had heard they were easy to fix because they were pretty simple, and parts were easy to get to underneath. still, for me, the Maverick is probably the best choice due to the way it drives etc..just wish they werent so damned complex!
