That's a good looking truck you have there mate, & the oil cooler looks well up to the job.

Isn't the air con bit normally a Schrader valve? Could the fitting be re-tapped/ helicoiled & a new valve fitted?

its not broken, just missing the screw cap, just not sure where to buy new ones, or if they are standard sizes?

What about the guy on here that is breaking trucks? he might have a cap. Sorry I missed you last night Pete, I had too much on to come along with Clivvy, next time I won't

Iv'e found a cap that covers the recharge valve/doohicky. I'm picking it up friday, If its the right cap I'll pop it in the post the same day. If not I've got a spare for someone else!

Yes I believe so, the other air con cap is present furthur down the pipe..

Guys, I have just replaced the aircon pipe on my troll, so have the little green/blue cap spare....... PM me the address and I will post it to him.

i realise this is a silly question , but im going to ask anyway ..... what is it for ? does it actually stop the aircon from working ?

Think it works like a dust cap,,,,,,,, stops stuff getting into the filler valve and letting the gas out......... PS it is now ilegal to vent aircon gas.... so when my old pipe split I was breaking the law???
