just a quick update....ran up engine on friday and started preasurising coolant hoses immediatly so head defo gone.....now started to strip out and remove head ready for skim and preassure test.....also tried to hoover up all the naffin dog hairs!!!!! ruddy sh*t machines!

I'm in Llandovery once more towards the end of this week if you want that diff from Makeitfit, then I'm in France til about June.....oh how dreary!

update
Have managed to get the damn head off tonight and my what a horrible job to do!!
But hey the head gasket had defo blown between 3rd and 4th piston so not a total waste of time!!  will now send for skim,preassure test and crack test before refitting just to be on safe side! |
