im thinking of fitting a headlamp washer jet to my escort intercooler, to help keep it cool, cant really get a fan in front though. :cool

Agreed, so maybe if you lift it and heat shield the underside, as you said before, then work out a good exit for the air flow

You can get proper spray nozzles on the bay. They're better than a jet from a washer type squirter thing
So you'll get a spread of water over the I/C . Scoobies do it(That's where I got my I/C water spray switch from)

i must have a look later, i've got a few washer tanks with pumps on, so may be able to fit one somewhere and use a proper spray nozzle,

The trouble with wet coolers is YOU have to cool the water then too
So you need a heat exchanger or a big supply of ice
Oh and pump it round somehow
