Ok that’s great I appreciate it I’m in no rush just get better I have a bad back also doesn’t give me much trouble anymore I usually lift something really heavy like a washing machine or something and it stops it from hurting oddly
Just no idea where gears are or 4wd system lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Just a bit of progress today just need to do the arch where the filler neck is and a small hole in the engine bay arch and its time for under seal and I think I’m going to do all 3 belts and it sounds like possibly needs a injector then time to turn it into a mini off road camper for trekking through Scotland Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Yea ended up using 3mm plate welding the full length around and both arches but it all turned out pretty good. A lot easier because I’m not keeping any of the seats in if I was it would of been a lot harder as the seat belt mounting points were knackered

Unfortunately I’ve been ill recently so haven’t kept up to your thread. Well done this is a credit to you, it would of been so easy to just bin the truck. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your progress.

Well managed to get the piano hinge on the storage compartment just one last bit left and it’s ready to use just need some black carpet and something good to stick it with so it never comes off. As most may of guessed I’m not much of a talker I just like pictures to explain most of what I’m doing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Me too haha I’m kind of rushing it a bit as I’ve got a busy week at work and we’re away camping on Friday so needs to be useable I won’t have chance to do the carpet but it should still function well.
I’m planning on making something to go on the back door too not sure how at the min. Also has anyone done anything so you can open the back door from the inside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

I think that was another Nissan cost cutting exercise, as my 1999 one has the ability to open the door from the inside, and also to lock the door from the inside as well, where as Suz's 2001 doesn't have it.
I have never looked, but maybe the lever is still on the lock to do it. |

Which one of these fits mine?? I’ve took the door card off and I can reach in and open it from the inside but it’s not exactly easy I will take pictures tomorrow to show you what I mean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
