If we happened to be laning in your neck of the woods again, you'd be invited along cos you're part of this mad house.
Therefore, I vote stay |

I totally agree.
So much part of the furniture... he has woodworm lol... Decision...I am not waiting till after the weekend, you can have my vote now. I am not hiding behind a secret poll, even if meant in jest.. Zippy, I "Uncle Rustic" do not want you to leave, it would have the same effect on the forum as if I announced I wanted to sell my Maverick.. Sit down... I did not suggest I was getting rid of my Maverick calm down... put your cheque books down lol ohhh how many bottles of Highland Malt was that? nahh... not enough lol Over my dead body... ohh I might have worded that a bit differently.. Personally we should avoid personal polls like this, back fired on Ryan, well I did similar when it come up to renewal just over a year ago... I had just been diagnosed and I thought, will I get my money's worth, can I pay monthly.. Well to me it sort of back fired in a nice way really, I had several pms from members offering to pay my subs for me to stay... how could I not stay with a response like that, and a couple of months ago renewal came up... I paid it without thinking. So to return that offer, Zippy, I would gladly pay your subs for you to remain for another year. BUT this forum is not just about money is it...? ( well I hope it isn't ... gulp...) Disclaimer:- The offer of paying other members subs is not open to other members, particularly one moderator who at one point 3 years ago threatened to ban me. I recon if he had a poll, he would have some surprising results.lol Yeah... the surprise would be... that folk would want him to stay... What is Uncle Rustic on today? Well today is chemo 4 day (out of 10) sessions, at 11:00 I have the treatment, no big deal, but it's a bit of a lottery as to how the next 5-7 days goes. Could hit me tomorrow, might be fine Friday, Saturday, but I expect to be bed ridden with headaches and hip, and spine pain on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and sometimes more. Very little appetite, bowl of soup half a slice of bread, and a tin of pineapple chunks and a litre of pineapple juice, and strawberry milk, seems the norm on those bed days. I am hoping to avoid the rush trips to hospital that usually accompany this treatment. It truly screws up your plans. So that's it... Zippy is staying for another year, I keep my Maverick, everyone is happy... Banshee starts a mid life crisis, thinking if people really like him or not Yes he gets my vote. I think he does a great job. Uncle Rustic

I'm just super hyper today, the reason is after some adjustment to the chemo drug, I have had a good last session, I got to see my grandson, did some work on our boat... new thread coming on that...soon, did some prep work on my mav and it passed the MOT just in time prior to my next chemo.
I have even agreed to meet some of you guys, take the Mav on a light laning trip maybe. Planning an overnight stay on our boat, first time in nearly 2 years. Wow compare that to my miserable outlook a couple of months ago. This is how my oncologist wanted my treatment to go, he said the chemo should improve your life now, he thought I was waiting for after the chemo to finish, endure it... then enjoy life. He said that I must enjoy it now.. Took a while for that penny to drop... So outlook in the short term looks good so, I damn well want to enjoy it. Uncle Rustic

Good to see you type like this Rustic, hopefully having friends like here is a help to you. As for a meet up just drop us a post or pm and we will organise a meet up, be nice if it could be a weekend meet so we can make the most of it especially if people have to travel. A social event maybe with free time for people to do a little laning or simply relaxing and enjoying comapny with a social gathering or meal for a Saturday evening. How does that sound everyone? Even a special parking place without much mud for the Note. A meet for us all, maybe a little like the old national rallies from years ago.

I'm thinking it's time the world saw the first 4wd converted Nissan Note.
That's gotta be his plan, right? |

+1 on that...
No... + 1000 You guys have all supported me on this, and of course each other, this is not just about cars, Nissans, or 4x4 it's about people. We are still the same people, it's just this forum has brought together friends we have yet to meet. Mind you after you meet me and Roz... you might change your mind lol... Somehow, I don't think that will happen. Now... there is one person plus others in the area I would also like to meet after the North Midlands South Yorks meet, and that could be near Bexhill, and may be the odd character in South Wales, (very odd lol) but I'm not taking my truck to any of the places they frequent lol. no no no Uncle Rustic
